Set in the towering city of Mistrion, inspired by the 1900s, The Crow’s Parlor follows Shirley as she rejects her stuffy rich life to fight for the Forgotten – people drained of their energy and abandoned by society. Under the disguise of a social parlor, she provides them with employment, dignity, and safety.

And with the help of new friends (Emme, Kira, Gage, and Wells), the parlor slowly begins to take shape. But her work draws dangerous enemies: Ray Asher, the city’s most feared guildmaster who uses her legacy against her and manipulates her parlor for his own benefit; and the Deputy Inspector, who secretly plots to bring Shirley down before she grows too big.

As she fights these impossible forces, she must also face her own scars, fractured past, and untamed magic which threatens to, quite literally, unravel everything she’s built. The Crow’s Parlor draws on themes of resilience, found-family, and social injustice.
